Oct 13-15 Shift Festival 2016   Held each October in the spectacular valley of Jackson Hole, SHIFT is an annual festival that celebrates the intersection of conservation with Nature (the natural environment), Culture (the built environment) and Adventure (outdoor recreation) across North America. The 2016 Festival will feature an in-depth exploration of the opportunities and challenges at the intersection of conservation and adventure, with a goal of leveraging outdoor recreation for conservation gains.  The complete schedule for 2016 events can be found here at the Shift Festival Details.   The SHIFT Summit, which will be held at the Snow King Resort Hotel Oct. 13-15, includes panel discussions, breakout groups, and networking opportunities that explore the nexus of outdoor recreation and conservation—specifically the public land transfer movement, funding for public lands, and next generation engagement.
